<![CDATA[Hamilton Police Service Newsroom]]> https://hamiltonpolice.on.ca/news/ en-ca Mon, 07 Sep 2026 22:45:54 +0200 Sun, 16 Nov 2025 06:01:28 +0100 <![CDATA[Hamilton Police Service Newsroom]]> https://content.presspage.com/clients/150_2189.jpg https://hamiltonpolice.on.ca/news/ 144 Hamilton Police Investigating Fatal Collision in Ancaster https://hamiltonpolice.on.ca/news/hamilton-police-investigating-fatal-collision-in-ancaster/ https://hamiltonpolice.on.ca/news/hamilton-police-investigating-fatal-collision-in-ancaster/728546The Hamilton Police Service is currently investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Wilson Street West near McClure Road in Ancaster at approximately 5:20pm on November 15th, 2025.  Traffic reconstruction investigators have taken carriage of the investigation in cooperation with divisional detectives.  Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a 42 year old female pedestrian who was struck on Wilson Street West by a pick up truck.  The female victim was quickly transported by Hamilton EMS to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.  The investigation is ongoing and Wilson Street West is expected to reopen before midnight tonight.
