The Honda entered the intersection and collided with a 2011 Ford Escape travelling northbound on Nebo Road. The occupants from both vehicles were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. One female passenger in the Honda succumbed to her injuries.

Hamilton Police Service was assisted by the Niagara Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit in this investigation. The Niagara Regional Police Service formulated grounds as a result arrested and laid criminal charges against an involved driver on June 19, 2020. 

A publication band has been ordered and no further information will be disclosed at this time.
