On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, shortly before 10:30 p.m., a 38 year-old male victim was shot in the alleyway between Birch Avenue and Gibson Avenue in Hamilton. Victim was transported to the General Hospital, where he later died at approximately 11:15 p.m.

No suspects at this time, no weapon has been located and no arrests made at this time.

The investigation has been taken over by Major Crime Unit.

This is Hamilton’s 7^th homicide of 2021.

A large police presence is expected in the area, as police work through the investigation by canvassing for witnesses and video surveillance.
