On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, the Hamilton Police Service issued a media release looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery investigation.

As a result of information received from members of the public, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, the Hamilton Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the west end of the city.

A male was arrested and charged in relation to two separate commercial robberies and a break & enter at another business.

The Hamilton Police Service would like to thank members of the community, who responded to the media release and provided information to investigators, which led to the suspect being identified.
