On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, shortly before 11:30p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Mohawk Road West and Magnolia Drive, after receiving reports of a shooting. Police spoke with witnesses in the area, who stated that they heard two gun shots.

Police located a bullet casing and can confirmed a firearm was discharged in the area.

The individual believed to be the target of the shots did not remain on scene and police are looking to speak with him.

At this time, it is believed no one was injured.
