On December 18, 2019, shortly after 9:00 a.m., an officer observed a Honda Civic with heavy front end damage travelling northbound on Sanford Avenue North in Hamilton. Police attempted a traffic stop by pulling in front of the vehicle as it travelled eastbound on Ottawa Street North but the vehicle accelerated, hitting the rear bumper of the patrol car and sideswiping it as it tried to pass. The Honda lost control and struck a concrete barrier. Despite the damage to both cars, Honda chooses to continue driving eastbound on Ottawa Street ignoring lights and sirens.

The vehicle was quickly located driving on Parkdale Avenue South where a traffic stop was safely conducted.

Police identified the two occupants and placed them under arrest. Inside the vehicle drugs, pellet handgun, pellet rifle, prohibited weapons, fraudulent money, stolen identification and ammunition were located.

The male and female were brought into Central custody with their bail opposed.

• Fail to Re-attend Court

Charged: Ashline Hall (31-years-old) Hamilton resident

• Adult Possession Methamphetamine

On Friday, July 27, 2018, shortly before 1:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of a disturbance in the area of the Walmart parking lot located at 510 Centennial Parkway North, Hamilton. As a result, Hamilton Police have charged:

Dale Robertson 47-years of Stoney Creek

• Threatening Death

• Dangerous Driving

• Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident

The victim in the incident received minor injuries and has been medically cleared.

As a result of the circumstances surrounding the incident, the investigation is being forwarded to the Hate Crime Unit for review.

Mr Roberson has been released by way of a Promise to Appear and will appear in a Hamilton court on of August 23, 2018.
