The investigation extended to areas all across South-Western Ontario.</span></p><p><span>Police have charged two individuals and seized a large quantity of suspected high concentrated fentanyl, cocaine, and currency. Police also located a firearm along with five extended high capacity magazines with ammunition.                         <title>Patrol Officer Locates Drugs During Traffic Stop</title>

<p>On May 26, 2020, shortly after 2:15 a.m., police noticed a silver 2019 Chevrolet Malibu emerge from an alleyway&nbsp;on Burton Street and Emerald Street in Hamilton. Prior to conducting a traffic stop police confirmed the Chevrolet plates were registered to a car rental company in London.</p>

<p>Police stopped the vehicle on Burton Street just south of Emerald. During the investigation police learned the driver and passenger had outstanding warrants with Ottawa and Hamilton Police Services.</p>

<p>During the search of the vehicle police located Methamphetamine, Codeine and Fentanyl with an approximate street worth of $26,800 and over $5000 in cash.</p>

<p>The two Hamilton males were arrested and brought into custody with their bail opposed.</p>

                        <title>Hamilton Police Service Executes CDSA Search Warrant at Mountain Residence</title>

A man and woman, both from Hamilton have been arrested and face numerous drug related charges.</p>

<p>As a result of information received regarding suspected illegal drug trafficking, police commenced a lengthy investigation. On Thursday, June 7, 2018, shortly after 4:30 p.m., members of the Hamilton Police Service Division Three HEAT Unit and the Vice and Drug Unit, executed a CDSA search warrant on a residence located in the area of Upper Wentworth Street and Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton.</p>

<p>A 25-year-old Hamilton man and a 24-year-year-old Hamilton woman were arrested as police seized a plethora of illicit drugs, ammunition and Canadian Currency exceeding $10,000.00. Both parties will appear in court on Friday, June 8, 2018, to answer to the following joint charges:</p>

                        <title>Hamilton Police Charge 16-year-old with Trafficking Marijuana</title>

While dispersing the crowd they observed a young male in possession of marijuana. He was investigated by police and subsequently arrested. He was charged with drug related offences and turned over to his parents.</p>

<p>On Friday, June 1, 2018, shortly before midnight, Hamilton Police responded to a disturbance in the area of Cootes Drive and York Street, Dundas. Information received at the time included objects being thrown at vehicles in the area by youth.</p>

<p>While police were dispersing the crowd they observed a young male sitting at table while in possession of a marijuana cigarette and additional loose marijuana. The youth was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and it was later revealed he was also in possession of a small knife, a large quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.</p>

<p>The 16-year-old male from Dundas was released to his parents on charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Drugs- Marijuana and Possession of Proceeds of Crime X2. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, July 6, 2018 to answer to the charges.</p>

                        <title>Operation Lookout Nabs Drug Dealers</title>

Police investigated the call and arrested three parties with outstanding immigration warrants. Further investigation revealed the parties were in possession of illegal drugs.</p>

<p>Last year, Operation Lookout accounted for 33% of Impaired Driver arrests in Hamilton. Operation Lookout has been in place for close to 20 years. It is a strong Impaired Driving Campaign which promotes citizens to contact police when they believe they are observing an impaired driver.</p>

<p>On Thursday May 17, 2018 shortly before 2:00a.m., a citizen contacted Hamilton Police through Operation Lookout to advise they had concerns about impairment after viewing a driver with an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Police located the vehicle in the McDonalds Restaurant parking lot at 21 Upper Centennial Parkway.</p>

<p>Police investigated the occupants and learned an outstanding Immigration Warrant existed for the driver as well as the two passengers. While interacting with the occupants, police detected the odour of fresh marijuana emanating from the cabin of the vehicle and observed a small quantity of marijuana in plain view.</p>

<p>All three parties were arrested for being in possession of marijuana. They were taken into police custody where the investigation continued.</p>

<p>The male occupant (44-year-of-age) will appear in court today to answer to the charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana) and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.</p>

<p>The two female occupants (24 & 25-years-of-age) will be in court on Wednesday June 27, 2018, to answer to the charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana).</p>

<p>Police have also seized approximately 720 grams of marijuana, 84 grams of hash, several cellular phones and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency as evidence.</p>

<p>Investigation continues surrounding the Immigration Warrants.</p>

<p>On May 14, 2018, shortly after midnight, police observed a black Ford pick-up truck parked with its tires resting on the sidewalk obstructing pedestrians. As Police attempted to investigate, the vehicle proceeded to drive away. The truck was pulled over by police at King Street East and Ashley Street, Hamilton and identified the driver had a suspended license.</p>

<p>The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while being suspended. Further investigation lead police in locating 10.2 grams of Cocaine and 47.65 grams of Methamphetamines (approx. combined street value of $5700), a large sum of money and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The male was held for bail hearing and scheduled back to John Sopinka Court House on June 6, 2018.</p>

                        <title>Police Arrest Four Hamilton Men for Possession of a Large Quantity of Marijuana</title>

<p>On Monday April 9, 2018, shortly before 1:00p.m., police received information on a 2008 black Honda Civic parked in the area of Parkwood Crescent and Waldorf Court. At that time it was believed the occupants in the vehicle were engaged in drug activities.</p>

<p>Police attended the area and located the vehicle with four occupants. As police investigated they gained evidence to support the males were in possession of marijuana. All four males were arrested and police recovered approximately 397 grams of marijuana.</p>

<p>The four males ages 21, 21, 22 and 22 are from Hamilton. They are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, Mary 23, 2018 to answer to the&nbsp;charge of Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams.</p>

                        <title>Pedestrian Fails to Follow the Rules of the Road, Police Arrest and Learn He is a Drug Dealer</title>

Moments earlier, the pedestrian walked out into the roadway without right of way, in front of a moving police vehicle causing the officer to brake suddenly to avoid a collision.</p>

<p>During the interaction with the pedestrian, a strong odour of fresh marihuana was detected from the male. He became evasive and uncooperative and police noted the information he provided, to be untruthful. He was arrested for obstructing police and further investigation revealed he was in possession of illicit drugs.</p>

                        <title>Hamilton Police Execute Search Warrant at a Hamilton Residence</title>

Police secured the residence and executed a search warrant which resulted in the arrest of three individuals.</p>

<p>Police located and seized a large quantity of heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana. The total estimated value of the seized illicit drugs is $195,000.00.</p>

<p>In addition to the seized drugs, police also located a loaded colt 22 calibre handgun with other various types of ammunition and a large sum of Canadian currency.</p>

                        <title>Traffic Stop Leads to the Arrest of Two Wanted Parties</title>

<p>Early Thursday morning Hamilton Police conducted a traffic stop in the east end of the city and arrested two wanted parties from the Brantford area. The males were held for a Bail Court Hearing to answer to several criminal charges.</p>

<p>On Thursday, March 15, 2018 shortly before 5:00 a.m., police were patrolling the east end of the city when a 2005 red Toyota Camry was observed travelling northbound on Tuxedo Avenue with the headlights off. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Roxborough Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue. As police conversed with the occupants pertaining to Highway Traffic Act infractions they were made aware of Criminal Code violations. Investigation revealed valid warrants of arrest existed for both occupants with the Brantford Police Service.</p>

<p>The occupants were arrested during which time illicit drugs were located on their person.</p>

                        <title>Three Out of Town Drug Dealers Arrested at Traffic Stop</title>

Investigation revealed the occupants were in possession of illicit drugs. All three occupants were arrested and held for a Bail Hearing.</p>

<p>On Saturday, March 10, 2018 shortly before 2:30 a.m., police observed a black Chrysler 300M&nbsp;at the intersection of King Street East and Sanford Avenue North. The driver was honking his horn at slower traffic, spun his tires and drove off at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped by police at the intersection of King Street East and Tisdale Street North.</p>

<p>As officers approached, they smelled the odour of fresh marijuana coming from the cabin of the vehicle and crumbs were observed in plain view. The three occupants were arrested for possession of marijuana. Investigation revealed the occupants were individually in possession of additional drugs for the purpose of trafficking.</p>

<p>Hamilton Police have seized over 23 grams of marijuana, three&nbsp;grams of cocaine, several cell phones and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.</p>

<p>Three adult males&nbsp;were arrested and held for a bail hearing.</p>

<p>On February 21, 2018, Hamilton Police executed a drug warrant at the SOS (Spliff on Site). Andrew Bick, 30 years-old&nbsp;from Ancaster was charged with several drug related offences including drug trafficking. Bick was released on a Promise to Appear Undertaking with conditions to stay 300 metres away from 1543 King Street East, Hamilton.</p>

<p>On March 8, 2018, just after 4:00 p.m. police attended the SOS Marijuana Dispensary and found Andrew Bick working inside the store. Bick was arrested for breaching his conditions. During the search a small baggy of cocaine was located in his pocket.</p>

<p>Bick was held for bail hearing on March 8, 2018, and charged with Possession of Cocaine and fail to comply with an undertaking.</p>

<p style="box-sizing: inherit; margin: 10px 0px;">On Monday, March 5, 2018, shortly before 5:00 p.m., police observed a cyclist riding on the sidewalk as he disobeyed a red traffic light at the intersection of Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North. The cyclist was stopped by police, at the time he was smoking a marijuana cigarette. He was arrested and then found to be in possession of illicit drugs.</p>

She was arrested and later police located several other illicit drugs within the vehicle. The female was held for a bail hearing.</p>

<p style="box-sizing: inherit; margin: 10px 0px;">On Monday, March 5, 2018, shortly before 4:30 p.m., police received information regarding a parked car in the area of 1022 Barton Street East. Upon arrival they located a 2007 Pontiac Torrent and observed a lone female occupant, sitting with her legs up on the dashboard. During a conversation with the occupant, police observed evidence in plain view to support the possession of illicit drugs. The occupant was arrested and several types of illicit drugs were located in the vehicle.</p>

<p>On Thursday, February 22, 2018 shortly after 1:00 a.m., Hamilton Police observed a green Honda CRV driving suspiciously westbound on King Street East near Nash Road, Hamilton.</p>

<p>A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was very evasive in her answers. Investigation revealed the driver had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and both the licence plate and vehicle were reported as stolen. Additionally, police located approximately 20.5 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine under the control of the vehicle occupants.</p>

<p>The driver, a 40-year-old female from Hamilton has been arrested and held for a Bail Hearing scheduled for February 22, 2018.</p>

<p>In early February 2018, the Gangs and Weapons unit initiated an investigation into the drug dealing activities involving a Hamilton man. On February 16, 2018, members of the Gang and Weapons unit observed a male exit a residence and enter a vehicle. The vehicle was pulled over and the occupant was arrested for drug related charges.</p>

<p>Police then continued with the investigation and executed search warrants at his residence on Bastille Street, Hamilton and his business on 208 Kenilworth Avenue North, Hamilton.</p>

<p>Police located a large quantity of illicit drugs with a street value of $20,000&nbsp;and a large sum of Canadian currency inside the residence and business.</p>

                        <title>Several Hamilton Residence Charged after Vice and Drugs Executed Search Warrant</title>

<p>In January 2018, the Vice and Drug unit initiated an investigation into the drug dealing activities of a multiple individuals in the area of Huntsville Street in Hamilton. On Friday, February 2, 2018, search warrants were executed and six people were located and arrested inside the premise. The Vice and Drug unit continued the investigation which led to the search and seizure of a large quantity of illicit drugs. A large sum of Canadian Currency and an estimated street drug value of $70,000 were&nbsp;seized.</p>

                        <title>Gangs and Weapons Unit Executes Two Warrant and Seize Firearm, Ammunition and Illegal Drugs</title>

<p>On Wednesday, January 31, 2018, a Controlled Drug and Substance Act Search Warrant was executed and the male was arrested; police have seized a large quantity of illicit drugs. The investigation continued and led to police to&nbsp;a storage facility.</p>

<p>On Thursday, February 1, 2018, members of the Gangs and Weapons Unit executed a Search Warrant at a storage facility in Burlington and located a firearm and ammunition.</p>

                        <title>Hamilton Police Conduct Traffic Stop and Arrest Drug Dealer</title>

A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and an occupant was arrested for drug related charges.</p>

<p>On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 shortly after 7:30 p.m., as police were patrolling the area of Tisdale Street South and King Street East they observed a male exit a residence known to be involved in drug activity. The male then entered an idling vehicle. As the vehicle proceeded northbound on Tisdale, a traffic stop was conducted as a result of a Highway Traffic Act infraction.</p>

<p>An investigation of the vehicle&rsquo;s occupants revealed the presence of a large quantity of illicit drugs. One male occupant became combative in an attempt to prevent his arrest.</p>

<p><strong>Michael Smith&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;42 years&nbsp;from Toronto has been arrested.&nbsp;</p>
