Hamilton Police Vice and Drugs officers conducted an investigation and execute a search warrant at an address in the city’s east end and arrested a male and female who reside at that address. A large quantity of cocaine and cash were recovered.

On May 7, 2020, the Vice and Drug Unit executed a search warrant in the early morning hours at a residence in the city’s east end. During a search of the address officers located a large quantity of cocaine valued at approximately $400,000.00 and seized in excess of $150,000.00 in cash. A couple residing at that address has been arrested and charged.

Charged: Daniel Reeve (29-years-old) Hamilton resident

• Possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000.00

Charged: Caroline Cote (23 years-old) Hamilton resident

• Possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000.00

Hamilton Police have executed a drug warrant and made three arrests inside a hotel.

On April 15, 2020, shortly after 12:15 p.m., police conducted surveillance in the area of the Budget Inn on 737 King Street East in Hamilton. Police noticed behaviours indicative of drug trafficking inside two hotel rooms.

Officers from Investigative Units worked together to execute search warrants within the rooms. Three individuals were located inside and arrested.

The following items were seized:

• Cocaine (approx. street value $2560.00)
• Pills – (drug analysis required)
• Cash - $2985.00
• Butterfly knife
• Flick knife

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
• Proceeds of Crime Under $5000

• Possession – Cocaine
• Possession – Other drugs
• Possession of prohibited weapon x 2

Hamilton Police located a half-million dollars in street drugs inside a Stoney Creek residence. Three occupants have been charged.

On March 16, 2020, Hamilton Police began an investigation into numerous domestic-related offences involving Michael Joseph Dalia. The investigators were unable to locate the accused at the time and issued an arrest warrant for the following offences.

Charged: Michael Joseph Dalia (37 years old) Stoney Creek resident

• Assault level One X 6
• Assault with a weapon X 3
• Assault cause bodily harm X 2
• Assault cause bodily harm – choking X 2
• Criminal harassment X 2
• Forcible confinement X 3
• Mischief under $5000 X 2
• Theft under $5000
• Utter threat to cause death

On March 18, 2020, Michael Dalia was located and arrested. A search warrant was executed at the 51 Greening Avenue residence which resulted in additional drug charges being laid.

Police seized over half a million dollars’ worth of street drugs inside the home. This included blue and orange fentanyl, heroin and cocaine. A $120,000 in cash and a replica airsoft handgun were also seized.

Occupants living in the residence were charged with the following offences.

Charged: Luisa Casciola-Dalia (Female, 64-years-old)

Carmen Dalia (Male, 68-years-old)

Michael Joseph Dalia (Male, 37-years-old)
