The Hamilton Police Service are investigating a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the East End of Hamilton.

On Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at approximately 1:00a.m., an unknown suspect entered a gas station in the East End of Hamilton, approached the counter and made a demand for money. The suspect brandished a knife and robbed the business of a quantity of cash.

No one was injured. The knife produced by the suspect appears to be a kitchen-style knife and is still outstanding.

 Investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect for this robbery. On Friday, September 3, 2021, shortly after 08:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of a shooting that just occurred in the Oriole Crescent neighborhood in Hamilton’s east-end.

A male and female were standing in the rear yard of a residence, when they observed a male exit a dark gold coloured SUV and walk towards their direction.

The suspect approached the victims, before discharging multiple shots. The male victim ran into the residence, while the female victim fled north.

No one was injured in the incident.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

The scene has since been processed and police are canvassing the area for any surveillance and witnesses.
