Tragic Ending in Search for Missing 14-Year-Old

It is with profound sadness that the Hamilton Police Service confirm that the 14-year-old that disappeared into Lake Ontario on Saturday, July 29, 2023 has been located deceased.

The Hamilton Police Service would like to acknowledge the incredible efforts of the citizens of Hamilton, The Hamilton Fire Department, The Hamilton Paramedic Service, The Halton Regional Police Service Marine Unit, Hamilton Beach Rescue/Coast Guard, Niagara Regional Police Marine Unit, The Ontario Provincial Police, Mohawk College and the Royal Canadian Air Force Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton, who assisted in the search for the missing person.

At this time, we are requesting privacy for the friends and family of those affected by this terrible tragedy.

UPDATE: Missing Person Diane McIsaac Located

Diane McIsaac has been missing since March 29, 2020, where she was last seen in the area of George Street and Queen Street South in Hamilton.

Police continued to reach out and follow-up on leads.

On May 7, 2020, police received information that Diane was in the downtown area of Hamilton. She was brought into safety and found to be in good health.

There will be no further police investigation required.

He was safely located on January 1, 2019 at 430pm and reunited with his family.

Hamilton Police have confirmed that missing person Mckayla Rishaur safely returned home shortly before 8:00 a.m. this morning.

Thanks to the community and media for your assistance in helping locate her.

UPDATE: Missing Person - Ralph Tweedle LOCATED

On June 25, 2019, shortly after 9:00 a.m., 78-year-old Ralph Tweedle was located safely in the area of Ogilvie Street and Hatt Street, Dundas.

On March 26, 2019, shortly before 10:00 a.m., Sharoon Pervaiz was located in the area of Mt. Lions Park, Hamilton.

Sharoon is in good health and reunited with family.
