Hamilton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation into a commercial break and enter.  

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, shortly after 10:00p.m., a break and enter occurred at a commercial business located on Upper James Street in the City of Hamilton.  

Two male suspects gained entry to the business by defeating the lock mechanism with a sledgehammer.  Once inside the commercial establishment the suspects stole product and fled the scene.

Suspect #1: male, thin build, wearing a light coloured Toronto Raptors hoodie.

Suspect #2: male, thin build, wearing a black hoodie.

Hamilton Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in the investigation.

Hamilton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to an incident that occurred at a retail store near Main Street East and Victoria Ave South.

On Saturday, January 22, 2022, shortly before 08:00p.m., a male entered a retail store near closing time. A store representative approached the male to assist him with his purchase.

At this time, the male picked up a 12-inch handsaw and began to swing it at the store representative’s face. The male was asked to leave the store and when he would not, a call was made to 911.

While the representative was on the phone with police dispatch, the male cut the phone line with the handsaw.

The male then ran out of the retail store, dropping the handsaw near the exit doors, as he fled the area.
