Hamilton Police Make Arrest in Sex Offence Investigation

Hamilton Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation. As a result, a 34-year-old Hamilton man was identified. Additionally, the male was also linked in relation to a second, unrelated matter which occurred on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Accused: Michael RIBEIRO (34)

Charges: Sexual Assault (Sunday, July 23, 2023)

Indecent Act (Sunday, July 30, 2023)

RIBEIRO was arrested on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, in relation to both incidents. A publication ban has been imposed, as such no further information will be made available.

Hamilton Police seek the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in a sex offence investigation.

On Sunday, July 23, 2023, shortly after 1:00p.m. a suspect was seen masturbating at a commercial business within Jackson Square.

The suspect is described as;

male
white
thin build
brown hair
brown beard
wearing a light red t-shirt with graphics
carrying a blue backpack
