On Friday, December 2, 2022, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a shooting in the area of Campbell Avenue and Grosvenor Avenue North.

Hamilton Police can confirm a shooting incident occurred and that bullet casings were located in the area.

There were individuals within the residence at the time of the shooting and no one sustained any physical injuries.

This is being investigated as a targeted incident.

Division Two Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating this crime. Detectives are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. for any suspicious activity and to contact police.

Detectives are also asking if you were driving in the area and have dash camera footage that would be suitable for review please contact the investigators.
