Trespassers Arrested for Trafficking Drugs

Hamilton Police investigated a report of trespassers to a property located in the area of Sandford Avenue and Aikman Avenue. Two adult males from Hamilton were arrested and are facing drug-related charges. They will appear in court on Monday, March 25, 2019.

On Sunday, March 24, 2019, shortly after 8:00 a.m., Hamilton Police received information regarding trespassers to a residence in the area of Sandford Avenue and Aikman Avenue. Police attended and located several people who had no legal right to be in the residence. They were arrested under the Trespass to Property Act. Further investigation revealed the presence of an assortment of knives along with drug paraphernalia. While searching two individuals, police located illicit drugs in their possession along with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency believed to be related to drug trafficking.

The two males were taken into police custody and held for a bail hearing and will appear in court on Monday, March 25, 2019, to answer to several charges.
