Two Pedestrians Hit by Motorcycle Driver, One Suffered Fatal Injuries

Police continue to investigate a Fatal motor vehicle collision in the area of Mohawk Road East, just east of Upper Gage Avenue in Hamilton.

On Saturday, December 28, 2019, shortly after 5 p.m., a 68-year-old Hamilton man and a 89-year-old Hamilton woman were attempting to cross the road from the south sidewalk when they were struck by a 54-year-old motorcycle driver Hamilton man operating a 2003 Harley Davidson that was travelling eastbound.

The 68-year-old man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 89-year-old woman suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital where she remains in critical condition. The 54-year-old motorcycle driver also sustained serious injury and is being treated for his injuries.
