On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to assist with a fire at 181 Jackson St West. Through continued investigation, it was determined the fire was deliberately set.  A public appeal was subsequently made in order to identify the suspect.

Thanks to the community, a 20-year-old female of no fixed address was identified and arrested. She appeared in court earlier today to answer to the charge of  Mischief Endanger Life.
