Hamilton Police Make second arrest in relation to Ancaster Church B&E

On Wednesday June 13, 2018, members of the Hamilton Police Service HEAT Unit made a second arrest in relation to a string of break and enters and mischiefs to the Meadowlands Fellowship Church in Ancaster.

A male youth of Ancaster was arrested and charged with two counts of Mischief Under $5000, and was held for a Bail Hearing.

Hamilton Police Service Division 3 HEAT Unit executes search warrants at Ancaster home in relation to Ancaster Church B&E

On Wednesday June 6th 2018, just shortly after 6:00pm, members of the Hamilton Police Service Division 3 HEAT Unit executed two Criminal Code search warrants at an Ancaster home (Greater City of Hamilton).

Members of the Division 3 HEAT Unit investigated a series of mischiefs and break and enters to Meadowlands Fellowship Church in Ancaster that occurred over the past few months. Hamilton Police had identified suspects for the crimes and executed warrants on a home and vehicle involved.

Over the past few months the church on Stonehenge Drive in Ancaster was victimized with several broken windows, doors and external parts of the church. On two occasions the church was broken into and damaged on the inside with some items stolen as well.

The Hamilton Police arrested an individual and seized items involved in the crimes. Police are confident that the person arrested is responsible for all of the crimes in relation to the church and is being held pending a bail hearing.

A male youth of Ancaster was arrested for Mischief X3 and Break and Enter X2.
