Hamilton Police have been involved in an ongoing investigation between February 2018 and October 2018, involving Jamal Morris.

A Canada Wide Warrant was issued along with a media release on May 3, 2018, in hopes of locating him.

On October 21, 2019, Jamal Morris turned himself in at Hamilton Police Central Police Station shortly after 11:00 p.m. He was brought into custody with his bail opposed.
