Police attended 75 Wentworth Street South, Hamilton shortly after 1:00 p.m., to investigate a domestic incident. The male remained inside his apartment for several hours, refusing to come out or speak with police.

Hamilton Police obtained a warrant to gain entry while the Emergency Respond Unit stood by to assist with the safe exit of the male party.

The male exited his apartment without incident shortly before 3:30 p.m. He was charged with domestic-related offences.
