Hamilton Police are appealing for information in the City’s sixth homicide.

At 11:45 p.m. on July 7, 2019, a male was found with gunshot wounds in the area of Carling Street and Tope Crescent in Hamilton. The victim, who has not been identified, is described as male, Mediterranean complexion, possibly in his 20s.

Two males were seen fleeing the scene in a sedan and travelling eastbound on Main Street from Macklin Street.

A post-mortem is being conducted today. Police will also be in the area canvassing for witnesses and any video surveillance.
