Youth Male Arrested for September Shooting

Hamilton Police have arrested a 17-year-old youth male for a shooting that occurred in September of 2021.

On Monday, September 13, 2021 shortly before 0300p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a possible shots fired call in the area of Sanford Street and Wilson Street.

Prior to police arrival, the involved individuals had fled the area.

Police located a shell casing, believed to be involved in the incident and the scene was secured and processed.

After an investigation, police have arrested and charged an individual in relation to the shooting.

  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

The youth male is held for a bail hearing and appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Hamilton.

No one was seriously injured in the incident.
