Early Morning Home Invasion in Hamilton

Police are asking for the public’s assistance with an early morning home invasion that occurred at a residence in the Birch Ave and Wilson St area, in the City Hamilton. It was reported that a firearm was used in the commission of the offence.
On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., residents were awoken by the sound of a smashed door in their home. Three unknown male suspects stormed into the bedroom demanding money.
One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded money, while the other two were rummaging through the house. After a brief standoff, the suspects fled the house on foot, last known direction of travel was northbound on Birch Ave toward Cannon St E.
The first suspect is describe as:
· Male, white
· 15-25 years of age
· Dark coloured sweater, dark pants, dark coloured backpack with a black balaclava
The second suspect is described as:
· Male, white
· 15-25 years of age
· Dark coloured sweater, dark pants, dark coloured backpack with a black balaclava
The third suspect is described as:
· Male, light skinned black male
· 15-25 years of age
· Dark coloured sweater, dark pants, wearing gloves
· Brandished a firearm
Police are actively investigating the incident and are appealing to residents in the area to check their CCTV cameras or dash cameras for anything suspicious between 2:00 a.m.- 2:30 a.m.
