About Us

This division oversees Fleet, Facilities, Procurement, Records Management, Property & Evidence, Information Technology, and Graphics.  It is the administrative side of policing and is responsible for the management of all police records and documents, technology, fleet, facilities, uniforms & equipment, procurement, and property for the police service.

What We Do

  • Provide leadership in the ongoing development and implementation of Service-wide technology enhancement.
  • Ensure facility needs and long term planning in regard to police facilities is appropriately planned for and managed.
  • Oversee the Equipment Advisory Committee and the Forms Committee.
  • Ensure compliance with City of Hamilton purchasing policies while maximizing the efficiency, effectiveness and economy of the police service, including active involvement in cooperative purchasing opportunities throughout the province.
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative services to support the Office of the Chief of Police and the members of the Service in accordance with the mission and values of the Hamilton Police Service.
