Adele Komorowski was a 26 year old McMaster University graduate student who was nearing the completion of her Master’s thesis.  She was attractive and popular among the staff and students at McMaster and was active socially.  On the night of the 15th of May, 1973, Adele Komorowski was murdered in a ravine behind the campus of McMaster University.  She was seen being accosted by a male outside of Brandon Hall and heard to scream ‘leave me alone’ as she was dragged into the woods.  The commotion attracted the attention of other residents and a search of the area quickly commenced.  A short time later her lifeless body was recovered near a path in the woods.  Several witnesses and associates were interviewed but her killer has never been identified.  Hamilton Police continue to view this as an ‘open’ investigation and would welcome the opportunity to speak with anyone who may have information to help solve this Homicide.
