On May 9th 2025 at approximately 12:30am the Hamilton Police Service responded to a report of a shooting that occurred at a business in the area of Main Street East and East Avenue South in the City of Hamilton. Multiple shots were fired during the incident resulting in a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim has been transported to hospital and their injuries are non-life threatening. The investigation into the number of suspects remains ongoing
Hamilton Police are requesting residents or anyone driving in the area of Main Street East and East Avenue South around 12:30am to check their surveillance cameras and dash cam footage for any video that may assist investigators.
