On May 30, 2025, Police were called to Shroomyz located at 1353 Main Street East for a store front which was on fire.
At approximately 3:42a.m., a car pulled up to the location and two suspects exited the vehicle. They proceeded to smash the front window and gain entry to the shop.
A short time later, a fire erupted and the suspects returned the waiting vehicle. It then fled northbound on Wexford Avenue North.
The occupants of the vehicle were only described as younger males, average height, thin builds, wearing dark-coloured hoodies with the hoods pulled up.
The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model, dark blue Chevrolet Malibu.
In conjunction with the Arson unit, the Hamilton Police Major Drugs Unit will be investigating any drug related offences.
