The Hamilton Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Upper Ottawa Street and Unsworth Drive on May 27, 2025 at approximately 4:50 am. The shooting was not reported at the time that it occurred. Police were notified upon the discovery of damage to a business in the area.
At this time, investigators are seeking to identify the suspect and motorcycle in the attached video clip.
The suspect was last seen driving northbound on Hempstead Drive toward Nebo Road.
Detectives with the Shooting Response Team are investigating and are seeking the public’s assistance. Residents, drivers, and businesses who were in the area of Upper Ottawa Street / Unsworth Drive / Hempstead Drive and Nebo Road around 4:45am-5:00am are asked to please check their CCTV and dash cams for the motorcycle.
