Stolen Mercedes Causes Crash on Quigley Road

On June 16, 2025, at approximately 5:30p.m., a vehicle collision occurred in the area of Quigley Road and St. Andrews Drive, City of Hamilton.

A white Mercedes SUV was travelling southbound on Quigley Road at a high rate of speed and came into contact with a white Dodge Ram Pickup truck that was also travelling southbound. The Mercedes then drove head-on into a black Toyota car that was travelling northbound.

The Mercedes was on file with the Hamilton Police Service as stolen, and the two occupants fled into a nearby wooded area prior to Police arrival.

The driver of the white Dodge Ram truck was uninjured; however the 71-year-old driver of the black Toyota suffered series injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Police are now searching for the two occupants of the Mercedes SUV. Residents and businesses in the area are asked to please check their CCTV and doorbell cameras for anything suspicious on July 16 between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Suspect one is described as:

  • Male black
  • 17-19 years old
  • Medium black hair
  • Black durag

Suspect two is described as:

  • Male black
  • 20 years old
  • Thin build
  • Afro hairstyle
  • 6 feet tall
  • Grey shirt
