Shooting Reported in East End Hamilton

Hamilton Police are investigating a targeted shooting that occurred in the early hours of July 2, 2025.

At approximately 3:40 a.m., police were called to the area of Case Street and Lottridge Street in east Hamilton following reports of a shooting. Initial evidence suggests the incident was targeted. No injuries were reported; however, a residence sustained damage believed to have been caused by a vehicle driven by the intended target as they attempted to flee the scene. Investigators are seeking assistance from the public. Residents and businesses in the area of Case Street and Lottridge Street are asked to review any surveillance or dash camera footage between 3:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. for suspicious activity.
