Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the early hours of July 22, 2025.
At approximately 1:50 a.m., police responded to the area of Barton Street East and Fraser Avenue after witnesses reported multiple gunshots near an HSR bus shelter. One victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing southbound on Fraser Avenue at a high rate of speed.
Investigators are seeking assistance from the public. Residents and businesses in the area are asked to review any surveillance or dash camera footage between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. for suspicious activity.
