Public Assistance Needed to Locate Wanted Man

The Hamilton Police Service Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Marshall Murphy, who is wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies in the city.

MURPHY has previously been charged in relation to the armed robbery of a cannabis store in central Hamilton on June 15, 2025. Investigators have also identified him as responsible for:

  • An armed robbery at a gas station in Stoney Creek on March 4, 2024
  • A robbery at a cannabis store on the Hamilton Mountain on May 5, 2025

Marshall Murphy is no longer abiding by his release conditions after fleeing from his surety’s residence and is believed to be in the Hamilton area. A firearm used during one of the robberies has not been recovered.

Do not approach Murphy if you see him — call 911 immediately. Marshall Murphy is described as the following:

  • Male, White, Heavy build
  • Tattoos:
    • “Rose” on left hand
    • “Cross” on right hand
    • “Smile Now, Cry Later” with skulls and clown faces on right forearm
    • “MCMLV-MMXXI” on left forearm
