Suspect Sought in Sexual Assault Investigation

The Hamilton Police are currently investigating a pair of incidents that occurred in the area of The Centre on Barton shopping plaza, 1275 Barton Street East, on August 24, 2025. In each instant, an unknown male approached a female and engaged the female in a brief conversation. The male then touched the female, without consent, in a sexual manner. Both victims described the male suspect as:

  • Male, black 
  • Approximately 35 years old
  • 6’2” to 6’4” in height
  • Heavy build
  • Wearing dark jogging pants with a burgundy t-shirt and carrying a dark coloured gym bag.

Investigators believe that there may be additional victims.
