Hamilton Police are appealing for the public’s assistance following the discovery of a deceased male near the Hamilton escarpment.
On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Belvidere Avenue after a local resident located a deceased male in a large vacant grassy lot surrounded by brush, adjacent to the escarpment.
The male is believed to be between 60 and 70 years of age. At the time he was located, he was wearing:
- A light blue collared, button-down shirt with a subtle plaid pattern
- Blue jeans
- A black belt with a silver buckle
- Black running shoes with grey and red markings (size 13)
The male is described as having medium-length grey hair, stubble facial hair, and missing teeth.
