Hamilton Police have charged two men following an investigation into the alleged trafficking of youth in Hamilton and Toronto.
The investigation began in May 2026 after members of the Major Drugs and Gangs Unit’s Human Trafficking Unit received information that multiple youth were being trafficked.
Investigators allege that between March and June 2026, Shemar Walters trafficked victims, advertised their sexual services online and collected the proceeds. Ethan Gangasingh is alleged to have assisted in procuring the victims.
Walters was held for a bail hearing. Gangasingh appeared in court on July 27, 2026, and was released.
Hamilton Police are releasing images of both accused as investigators believe there may be additional survivors who have not yet come forward.
