Keeping Kids Safe: Understanding Youth Violence & Bear Spray Risks
Parents and caregivers are invited to attend an important community presentation focused on youth safety. These sessions will provide valuable information about youth violence trends and the growing risks associated with the misuse of bear spray.
Participants will learn about:
- Current youth violence trends in our community
- The risks and realities of bear spray misuse
- Legal and safety consequences for youth
- Warning signs parents and caregivers should watch for
- How to talk to children about conflict and personal safety
- Practical strategies to help prevent youth violence
- Local supports and resources available to families
This session is designed to inform, empower, and support parents and caregivers in helping keep children and youth safe.
