A Hamilton Police Service member has been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Halton Regional Police Service.
The 47-year-old officer, an 18-year member of the Hamilton Police Service, has been charged with Breach of Recognizance.
The officer was previously charged in August 2025 in connection with a historical domestic incident.
Bail was opposed, and the officer was subsequently released on conditions.
As this matter is now before the courts, Hamilton Police will not be providing additional comment.
