Aug 4/2002 - At Mr Sub, 760 Concession St, Hamilton

Ronald Crawford was murdered on August 4th, 2002 during an attempted robbery at the Mr Sub location at 760 Concession St. Hamilton. Mr Crawford attempted to come to the aid of a store employee during the robbery and was fatally stabbed in the chest.

The unknown male white attacker then fled to a waiting dark coloured 4-door compact type vehicle that was parked waiting on W 31st St.  The vehicle was driven by an unknown male with a dark complexion. The vehicle was last seen fleeing southbound on W 31st St.

Suspect #1

Male, white, 20-40 years, 6’, slim build, with dark stubble on a possibly shaved head, had a deep voice, wearing dark clothing including a dark hooded pullover.(see composite drawing of suspect below)

Update ……………April 4th , 2012

41 year old Jason Fraser was arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact to Murder. Fraser is believed to be the operator of the getaway car at the time of the Murder of Ronald Crawford. Police are still seeking the Public’s assistance in identifying the unknown male white party who entered the Mr Sub store and killed Ronald Crawford
