Hamilton Police Respond to Fall at Dundas Peak

On Friday, May 24, 2019, shortly before 11:00 p.m., Hamilton Police, Hamilton Fire and Hamilton Paramedics responded to call for a male who had fallen off the Dundas Peak. The male was at the location with a friend when he stood up, lost his balance and fell.

Emergency responders located a 24-year-old male at the bottom of the cliff. The male was pronounced at the scene. Hamilton Fire assisted with the removal of the body early this morning.

The death is deemed to be non-suspicious.

Hamilton Police would like to remind the public that it is important to always remain on marked trails, stay behind any safety barriers and refrain from going out on trails when visibility is reduced.
