Armed Jewelry Store Robbery

On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 4:10p.m., police responded to an armed robbery of a jewelry store business in the area of Upper James Street and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.  

Four suspects entered the business with various weapons including a firearm. Several employees and customers were in the store at the time of the incident. Suspects took merchandise from the store and fled in a dark coloured newer SUV.  The vehicle was last seen entering onto the QEW from the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.  

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect #1 – Male, white, approx. 16-25 years old,
  • Suspect #2 – Male, black, unknown age
  • Suspect #3 - Male, of unknown race or age
  • Suspect #4 – Male, black, 16-25 years old

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit has taken carriage of the investigation and continue to investigate the incident.
