Armed Robbery at Shoppers Drug Mart
Shoppers Drug Mart was the target of an armed robbery last night. Police are investigating.
On March 6th, 2018, just shortly after 9:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to an armed robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 801 Mohawk Road West.
The investigation revealed that three masked males entered the Shoppers Drug Mart at approximately 9:30 p.m. and demanded drugs. Two of the males were armed with handguns. The males were successful in obtaining a quantity of narcotics before exiting the store. They were last seen by witnesses fleeing the area in a motor vehicle.
The Hamilton police would like to remind the public about the dangers involved with consuming drugs or narcotics without a prescription.
