Arrest Made After Incident at Mayor's House

Hamilton Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old female after a group of approximately 20 individuals attended the home of Mayor Fred Eisenberger.

On June 28, 2019, the group arrived at approximately 7:15 a.m. and planted signs on the lawn stating, “The mayor doesn’t care about Queer People.” The group also banged on the door and shouted obscenities. The group remained for approximately 15 minutes before dispersing.

A 33-year-old female is facing the following charges:

  • Theft under $5,000
  • Criminal harassment
  • Cause disturbance
  • Mischief

Bail has been opposed.
