Arrest Made in Body Found at Pier 4 Park
Hamilton Police have laid charges following the body discovered at Pier 4 Park on April 2nd, 2024. The deceased, was identified as Jason Gallant from the Hamilton area.
The Homicide Unit immediately took carriage of the investigation due to the suspicious circumstances around the death.
On Thursday evening, police executed two search warrants in Hamilton in relation to the investigation. Michael Castiglione, a 36 year old man from Hamilton, has been charged with second degree murder.
Police are not seeking additional suspects or involved vehicles and believe the incident was isolated, as the deceased and the accused, were known to each other.
