Arrest Made in City Centre Stabbing

Hamilton Police have arrested a 27-year-old man in relation to a stabbing investigation.

On Monday, December 12, 2022, shortly after 2:30 p.m., Hamilton Police received reports an individual entered the City Centre located at 77 James Street North bleeding heavily.

Police arrived on scene to find a 38-year-old man with two stab wounds. Emergency partners tended to the victim as police cordoned off the scene.

The 38-year-old victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was taken directly into immediate surgery.

On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, Hamilton Police arrested, 27-year-old, Daniel Dolan for the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Robbery with intent
  • Fail to comply Probation X 4

Daniel Dolan will be appearing in court this morning.
