Arrest Made in Suspicious Black Honda Investigation

A 33-year-old Hamilton man appeared in court today to answer to criminal charges related to him operating a black Honda Civic earlier in the week. Detectives continue to investigate and interview witnesses. 

On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, shortly after 1130 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a driving complaint in the area of Fennell Avenue East and Upper Wellington Street. The information provided to police included a black Honda Civic that was driving erratically and following the victim throughout the city. Additionally, the victim did not know the identity of the driver.

As a result of an investigation conducted by detectives from the Division Three Criminal Investigations Branch, a 33-year-old Hamilton man was identified and arrested on Friday evening. He was taken into police custody and appeared at the John Sopinka Courthouse earlier today to answer to the charges of Criminal Harassment and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Detectives continue to investigate and interview witnesses.
