Arrests Made in Hamilton Mountain Assault

Hamilton Police have arrested and charged three youth in connection with an assault outside Limeridge Mall.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, shortly after 4:30 p.m., a confrontation occurred outside Limeridge Mall between a group of young people and two adults. One of the adults was bumped and words were exchanged. The second adult was repeatedly punched and kicked. The assault continued until concerned citizens intervened and the suspects fled the area.

During the assault, a knife was displayed to the victims.

Hamilton Police Mountain Division detectives have continued the investigation and identified the parties involved in the incident. They were arrested and taken into police custody. They have been released and are scheduled to appear in court on Friday, November 15, 2019.

The victims received minor injuries, none in relation to the knife.
