On Sunday, December 23^rd, 2018, just shortly after 6 pm, Hamilton Police responded to reports of a large disturbance involving upwards of 20 people in the area of Wilson Street East and Filman Road, in Ancaster.

The Hamilton Police responded to the area and determined that during the dispute several persons incurred injuries from an edged weapon. The injured persons did not suffer life threatening injuries. A 36 year-old male was arrested in relation to the incident and charged with aggravated assault and three counts of assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous to public peace. There are no outstanding suspects.
