Boulevard Billiards Killer Flees Canada

Investigators learned from the Canadian Border Services Agency yesterday that Ibrahim ISSAK-HUSSEN took a flight from Toronto to Ethiopia on Sunday morning, less than 36 hours after police allege he shot and killed 29-year-old Obsa Junedi-Mohamed outside Boulevard Billiards.

At the time he boarded the plane, the police did not know the identity of the killer.

Investigators will now engage in an international manhunt to locate ISSAK-HUSSEN and look into returning him to Ontario to stand trial.

The white, four-door sedan that was used as the ‘get-a-way’ car was recovered on Boston Crescent on the east mountain yesterday afternoon and a warrant was issued to search for evidence pertaining to the murder.

Investigators are still looking to identify and interview the Asian male who left in the get-a-way vehicle right after the murder. He may go by the street name ‘SMALLZ’.

In addition, investigators now know that another friend of the victim, who goes by the street name ‘KOBY’, was present at the billiard hall when JUNEDI-MOHAMED was killed. Police also want to identify and interview him.

If you have any information, particularly in relation to the Asian male, ‘KOBY’ or the white sedan, that you believe could assist Police with the investigation into this crime, you are asked to contact Detective Rich Wouters of the Major Crime Unit by calling 905-546-4921.
