Hamilton Police Service is inviting members of the community to get an inside look at policing by registering for the upcoming Citizen’s Police College this fall.

The free, four-week program offers residents a unique opportunity to learn how the police service operates and the important role Hamilton Police play in keeping Hamilton safe. Participants will have the chance to engage directly with officers, explore various areas of policing, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and responsibilities involved in serving the community.

The Citizen’s Police College will be held on the following dates:

  • November 2, 2026
  • November 9, 2026
  • November 16, 2026

All sessions run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Police East End Station.

The program is open to individuals 18 years of age or older who live in Hamilton or are enrolled in full-time studies within the city.
