Collision Reconstruction Investigate

Hamilton Police are investigating a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.

On Thursday, February 4, 2021, shortly before 7:30 p.m. Hamilton Police responded to Mount Albion Road just south of Greenhill Avenue for a collision.

The vehicle was traveling northbound on Mount Albion Road and the pedestrian was walking southbound in the northbound lanes of the road.

The pedestrian, a 31-year-old male from Hamilton was transported to hospital with serious life threatening injuries.

The driver, a 38-year-old Hamilton man remained on scene and is co-operating with investigators.

Due to the severity of the injuries to the pedestrian, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.

Speed, driver impairment and distraction have been ruled out.
