Cyclist Seriously Injured In Downtown Collision

Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction has carriage of collision investigation, after one male taken to hospital in serious condition.

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, shortly before 5:00 p.m., a 53-year-old Hamilton man was riding his bicycle westbound on King Street East, when he collided with a 2006 Smart Car being operated by, a 31-year-old Hamilton female that was travelling southbound on Wentworth Street North.  

The cyclist was transported to hospital and is listed as serious but stable condition. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
